dynamic behavior of fire. Fire modeling can be used to:

- Supplement experimental testing in building & fire research
- Assess fire development & behavior
- Quantify damage at a specific time during the growth of a fire
- Accept or reject a hypothesis
- Animations and figures of selected fire model outputs can be generated.
